Blac Chyna is accusing the trial judge of her defamation case against the Kardashians of favoring the reality TV family.
Chyna claims that Judge Gregory W. Alarcon was very “hostile” and “biased” towards her and her lawyer, Lynne Ciani. She believes that Alarcon had a more significant influence on the trial’s outcome, mainly because of the jury’s directions before they reached a favorable decision.
Later during the trial, Tokyo Toni, Chyna’s mother, was escorted out of the courtroom because she threatened Kris Jenner and the judge but later denied threatening Alarcon.
According to the Kardashian’s attorney, Chyna’s filing is a “baseless effort to save face after losing at trial,” adding that Chyna was upset because “their effort to make a scapegoat of Judge Alarcon is frivolous, dishonest, and deserving of sanctions,” and that Ciani didn’t have a problem with the judge until “after the jury found against her client.”
After accusing the family of damaging her reputation and preventing her from earning money, Chyna filed a $40 million suit against Kris, Kim, Khloé, and Kylie for lost profits and over $60 million for potential earnings, claiming they “conspired” to have E! drop Rob & Chyna.
The jury found in favor of the Kardashians, saying that the family did not prohibit E! from renewing the contract after a two-week trial. Chyna is currently considering filing an appeal.
