As the Blac Chyna vs. The Kardashians trial ends, Blac Chyna’s lawyer, Lynne Ciani, accused the mogul family of “gaslighting” in her final arguments.
She asked jurors to look beside the fact the family is super famous and “use their common sense” and realize that Kris Jenner, Kylie Jenner, Kim Kardashian, and Khloé Kardashian were “gaslighting” during their testimonies. She believes they blew the December incident out of proportion.
Blac Chyna and Rob Kardashian were celebrating the renewal of their show Rob & Chyna when Rob allegedly snatched Chyna’s phone to go through with it. Alcohol was involved. In retaliation, Chyna “jokingly” put a gun to Rob’s head and choked him with a phone cord. Corey Gamble said that he saw the fight happen, and Chyna threw a chair and patio table at Rob as he was trying to escape in the driveway of their home. They were living at Kylie Jenner’s guest home at the time.
Ciani says, “For a person to claim that his fiancée struck him with a metal pole … but there were no marks in his body … no phone calls to police, not even a band-aid … that person is not credible,” she says about Rob.
She alluded to emails Kylie Jenner sent to execs saying she was scared for her brother and would film her former show, Life of Kylie. However, the show was canceled after season one due to low ratings. Ciani claims her emailing execs defamed Chyna’s character and breached her contract.
Ciani says, “There is no reason that she should not still be on TV except for what this family did to her.” However, The Kardashians and Jenner’s attorney, Michael Rhodes, claim that Chyna killed her show and defamed her character. However, neither helped their relationship.
Rhodes says, “It was about both of them … and it was a bad relationship. It’s not necessarily Mr. Kardashian’s fault or Ms. White’s [Chyna]. For some reason, they didn’t work … and there was a point where it became grim, dark, and heavy.”
