Black and Woman-Owned Wine Brand Launches In Georgia

IBest Wines, the trailblazing brand that combines wine, art, and culture, has launched in Georgia with its partner Empire Distributors.

Empire is one of the largest distributors in the southern state. The launch took place on March 1st, making it a massive move for IBest, seeing that it just launched last October. The Georgia launch follows the brand’s recent launch in South Africa.

The company has introduced its two exceptional blends (red and white) in Georgia, which may be because Georgia is seen as a trendsetter when it comes to the success of building a brand, especially in wine and spirits, Wine Business reported.

IBest Wines founder Ingrid Best and her all-women team toured Atlanta for a series of public wine tastings.

On Tuesday, a dinner was held at Yebo Beach Haus in Atlanta to celebrate the launch of IBest Wines in Georgia. The event was attended by a select group of guests, including Ingrid Best, the founder of IBest Wines, and prominent figures like Kenny Burns, Aiyisha Obafemi, Miss Lawrence, Ashuanna Ayars, Chaka Zulu, Rikki Hughes, and Sarah Pierre. During the dinner, Ingrid Best discussed the brand’s mission.
