Black Ink Crew – Dutchess and The Frog (Recap) – blogged @niksofly

Monday night’s episode of Black Ink Crew proved to be way more interesting than expected.  It opens with Caesar discussing Puma’s entrepreneurial ideas of opening another tattoo shop. The only thing is, Puma isn’t a tattoo artist. According to Caesar it is a declaration of war.  Caesar has this moment where he reflects over the relationship he had with Puma citing some things he miss and other he don’t. The walk down memory lane ruffles a little more than feathers and what we have are meme-worthy facial expressions of disgust and anger.  Caesar decides that he wants to move the crew to 125th to expand his business (and dominate Puma).

We get a glimpse of Puma’s family life with his wife, Quani and baby girl at the park. He is figuring out his entrepreneurship, but his mother-in-law, Denise, isn’t having  it with his daughter being at the shop.Denise over steps her grandmotherly boundaries and tries to check Puma. Puma doesn’t want any confrontation with Denise and asks that his wife rectifies the situation so Puma’s family time seems to be more of a mini-intervention. We also go an a journey with Sky who visits Dr. Miami to get her body correct. She reveals she was pregnant at an early age and her body wasn’t as sexy as she thought it could be. In an effort to  boost her confidence, she heads to the sunshine state to get snatched by one of the best.

While Sky is having her “new body, new life moment”, Donna takes those random feels she gets with Dutchess a few steps further. It is suppose to be hush-hush, but Dutchess spills the beans to Caesar , managing to keep that sausage and rice ( the real tea) together.

When Donna goes back to work, the pot of beans, sausage and all is on the table. Melody displays her black eye from a weekend of good sex  and Teddy is getting use to the role as manager. Confronted about the incident, Donna offers her side dismantling the “tongue rape” notion Dutchess gave Caesar. After realizing Dutchess is setting her up, Donna decides to inform Caesar of the second phone line Dutchess has. Donna even spills on Dutchess’ lost engagement ring. Apparently a frog caused her to lose it. .  Dutchess walks in and Teddy (Petty Teddy) sets her up for the kill. A bit of hell breaks lose and Caesar is left looking  befuddled.

We are left with a preview of what looks to be the end of the Dutchess and Caesar relationship. We do get to see Dutchess trying to play checkers and get Donna terminated, but judging from the tea that was being spilled, Dutchess might want to learn how to play chess. Donna goes in for the kill.
