‘Black-ish Actress Marsai Martin to Executive Produce and Star in Universal Comedy Film, ‘Little’

Actress Marsai Martin will be hitting the big screen.

According to Hollywood Reporter, the 13-year-old is set to executive produce and star in the Universal-produced comedy film, ‘Little’.

Directed by ‘Peeples’ writer Tina Gordon Chism, ‘Little’ centers an adult woman who gets the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to relive her carefree childhood after the pressures of adulthood become a little too overbearing.

The film is set to be produced by ‘Girls Trip’ producers Will Packer and James Lopez, alongside ‘Black-ish’ creator Kenya Barris.

Martin–who also came up with the concept for the script, will be executive producing alongside Regina Hall and Josh Martin.

The project will signify the ‘Black-ish’ star’s very first studio feature project.
