Amid the overwhelming success of #Blueface’s off-beat hit, “Thotiana,” the West Coast rapper is facing new legal issues that could send him to jail for a maximum of three years.
According to the Blast, Blueface has been charged with felony possession over an arrest that occurred on February 1.
In docs obtained by the publication, officials say the rapper was hanging out in a large group when police approached. While most scattered and tried to ditch their guns, Blueface and two other men were arrested for possession of a fully-loaded, unregistered handgun.
While the felony carries a maximum of three years, it comes on the heels of another possession charge that occurred in November. Although he was initially charged for assault with a deadly weapon over his alleged role in a robbery and shootout, the charges were eventually downgraded to misdemeanor possession.
He is expected in court to address that case later this week, the publication reports.
