Pusha T’s recently released album “Daytona” has drawn a lot of attention thanks to a multitude of storylines. While the internet is buzzing about the reignited feud between #PushaT and #Drake, others are stuck on the artwork chosen for the album.

From one R&B great, Bobby Brown, the move by #KanyeWest to make a photo of Whitney Houston’s bathroom counter covered in drugs, the album’s cover is inexcusable.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
“Why would he post that on his album cover?” #BobbyBrown asked in reference to #Kanye. “That’s really disgusting that he would do that. That’s in really bad taste. Something should happen to Kanye. He’s already crazy. I knew that when I first met him. Now he’s pushing the bar a little bit. He needs somebody to slap him up or something. And I’m just the person to do it.”

Brown’s statements came during an interview with Rolling Stone Wednesday, just days after Houston’s Estate expressed their disdain for the album cover.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
“Even in Whitney’s death, we see that no one is exempt from the harsh realities of the world,” the Estate said.

Pusha revealed in an interview with Angie Martinez that the choice to use the image depicting the height of Houston’s tragic addiction was initiated by West.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
According to Pusha T, West told him, “this is what people need to see to go along with that music.” Pusha also revealed that West covered the $85,000 tab to cover licensing fees for the image.
