Biography: Bobby Brown will explore Brown’s rise to fame and the fallout from his struggles with sobriety, along with his tragic loss of his two children, Bobby Jr. and Bobbi Kristina, and first wife, Whitney Houston.
According to A&E, Brown’s special will include his first visit to Houston’s and Bobbi Kristina’s gravesites and of him “holding a deeply moving tribute to Bobby Jr.”
Usher, Jermaine Dupri, Keith Sweat, Babyface, Brown’s New Edition groupmates Ricky Bell, Michael Bivins, Ronnie DeVoe, and Johnny Gill, as well as close relatives and friends, were among those interviewed for the documentary.
In addition, Brown will document his journey in Bobby Brown: Every Little Step, a new 12-episode docuseries that will give viewers an inside look at his life with his wife Alicia Etheredge-Brown and their children as he pursues new business opportunities, new music, and a reunion tour with New Edition.
There will be new episodes every Tuesday starting June 7 at 9 p.m. ET/PT. The series premieres immediately after Night 2 of Biography: Bobby Brown.
