On Thursday, Bobby took to Instagram to share the news. According to Bobby, he’s finally signed the release papers and now has the freedom to drop music on his own time. To add to the excitement, Bobby also adds that he made $1 million the same day.

In December, the “Hot N*gga” rapper put his label on blast, stating they’re the reason why there’s a slow process of his music being released. He also added that he had zero control over his music.
“I ain’t been in charge of my music since I was 19 years old. And I just turned 27 and honestly idk when sh*t dropping,” Bobby wrote in an Instagram post. “So don’t ask me sh*t go ask them mf’s since they wanna control everything!!!!!!!”
Then a few months later, Bobby expressed his grievances with his label again. However, this time he directly called out the label and its CEO, Sylvia Rhone. Bobby began his rant, saying his relationship with Rhone is great, but she refuses to let him out of the contract he signed at 19.
“I got a 70 year old lady running my label. And I love her dearly but doesn’t want to let me go at alllllllll,” he wrote in a now-deleted post. “No matter what I do I’ve been sign to them since I was 19 I did six years in jail trying to get off this label before I came home you name one person in the industry a lable keeps sign in jail for six years???? Yeah IK IK I made them more millions than they ever gave me!!! Just let me gooo.”
