Yesterday,TMZ reported that the rapper would be released from jail as early as this week because his legal team was sure that his latest $2 million bail package would be accepted by the judge. Turns out, they were wrong. Early Thursday morning, a judge denied Shmurda’s bail  for the third time. His bail arrangement has changed and his legal team must go back to the drawing board.
It’s been almost a year since the rapper first went to jail on drug and weapon charges. Shmurda’s next court date is currently scheduled for next month while his trial is set to begin on February 22, 2016.
