As if 2020 couldn’t get any worse, sources say Bobby Shmurda will not be getting out of prison this year.
With less than three months until his expected release date of December 11, 2020, the rapper has been denied parole and will now serve the remainder of his seven-year sentence, TMZ reports.
The “Hot N*gga” rapper sat before the Parole board last week, and although no reason has been given for the decision, he hasn’t necessarily been helping his case during his time behind bars.
According to TMZ, the rapper raked up 11 violations while in the pen, including drug possession, violence, and weapons possession for a shank.
Bobby was arrested back in 2014 on a slew of charges, including conspiracy to murder, weapons possession, and reckless endangerment. Two years later, he pleaded guilty and was sentenced to seven years, which was reduced to five with credit for time served.
He was expected to be released a year early, but after his recent rejection, sources expect Bobby to serve until December 11, 2021.
