It’s time to do the Shmoney Dance cause our boy Bobby Shmurda is officially being released from prison tomorrow, and it looks like the rapper wants to spend time with his family and get back to the music.
According to TMZ, Shmurda’s mom, Leslie Pollard, told them that he wants to enjoy an “intimate dinner” then get back to his passion, music.
Even though the rapper will be free, he will need to report to his PO regularly until 2026.
In 2016, the rapper was sentenced to 7 years in prison after he pleaded guilty to conspiracy and weapon possession charges.
In court, Bobby alleged that his attorney Alex Spiro “forced” him to take the plea deal, but the judge declined to have the case adjourned.
In January, sources told TMZ that Shmurda would be released 10 months earlier (Feb. 23) than his previously scheduled release ( Dec. 2021) after the department of corrections reviewed his “behavior and participation in prison programs.”
