Bobby Shmurda Signs A New Book Deal To Release His Autobiography

Bobby Shmurda has recently signed an agreement to pen a book chronicling his life.

In a Friday Instagram post, the Brooklyn rapper revealed his exciting new book deal. He emphasized that it will undoubtedly be known as one of the most captivating tales ever recounted.

“Work work work @utapublishing it is a pleasure off to the races we are,” Bobby wrote. “We’re now embarking on a #incredible #impactful #motivational #passionate #authentic story and journey that is still evolving sustainably.”

He continued, “This will be my 1st #autobiography. For all my fans and supporters thats been a1 since day1 you guys are an inspiration. I can’t wait for you to receive and read this masterpiece you’ll be motivated like mf this will be one of the best stories told in history #GoingforNumber1selling.”

Following the release of his breakthrough single “Hot N*gga” in 2014, Bobby quickly gained recognition as a trailblazer in the realm of Brooklyn Drill Music. However, his promising superstardom came to an abrupt halt when he faced legal repercussions. The rapper’s legal trouble resulted in his conviction on charges of third-degree conspiracy and weapons possession.

In September 2016, Bobby entered into a plea deal, admitting to conspiracy to possess weapons and possession of a weapon charges, linked to his association with the GS9 gang. Initially facing a seven-year sentence, he received credit for two years served prior to the final judgment.

During his time behind bars, Bobby accumulated a total of 11 infractions, including makeshift weapons, drug possession, and physical altercations. However, he eventually regained his freedom and was released from prison in February 2021.
