Bobby Shmurda wants fans to know that he will not be releasing new music anytime soon.
Since his release from prison in 2021, many fans have eagerly anticipated another album from Shmurda, especially after he dropped his EP Bodboy, his first project since his 2014 hit “Hot N*gga.”
Bodboy was a prelude to Shmurda’s highly anticipated debut album, Ready To Live. However, the release date for the album remains uncertain.
Over the years, he has stayed relevant by being featured on other tracks and showcasing his epic dance moves.
Recently, however, Shmurda took to social media to express his frustrations with fans continually asking for new music.
“Stop asking me to drop music,” Bobby wrote. “American DSPs don’t allow real Bodman on playlists because I don’t paint my fingers, so it’s pointless until something is done with the people who own, run and manage these platforms.”
Hopefully, Shmurda will have a change of heart, as many fans are eagerly awaiting new music from the Brooklyn rapper.
