Boobie Gibson Fight Prompted By Disrespectful Fan

I would say “I told you so” in regards to speculation that Daniel “Boobie” Gibson assaulted Keyshia Cole but it would be a waste of breath. TMZ has uncovered the details behind Gibson’s arrest and although Keyshia Cole was involved, she was NOT the victim. 

Gibson, who is currently a free agent, maintains that he was just defending his wife’s honor when the altercation in New Orleans took place. Boobie says Keyshia was performing at the Essence Music Festival earlier this month when some man began disrespecting Keyshia in a “profane” way. He says the stranger spouted very disrespectful comments to the singer. According to Boobie, he felt he and Keyshia’s “safety was threatened” so he “had to take action”.

Boobie says he has absolutely nothing to be ashamed of. I agree. A real man defends his wife.
