Known for his flashy lifestyle and love for the finer things, the “Set it Off” star admitted that the diamond earrings he wears daily are, in fact, fake. The Louisiana native explained that while he owns a pair of genuine diamond earrings worth $100,000, he rarely wears them except for high-profile occasions.
“I got real earrings. I wear fake earrings, too. I only wear my real earrings when I go to the game or something like that or to something big,” Boosie shared during an Instagram Live session.
Boosie’s candid confession echoes others within entertainment who have shared similar sentiments. Former football star Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson has been vocal about rocking fake jewelry throughout the years. In an August 2024 interview with “The Breakfast Club,” singer Tyrese revealed during one of his classic rants that none of his bling worn during the appearance was authentic, admitting that he was wearing a $23 bracelet from Amazon. Back in 2019, Gucci Mane accused Migos of wearing fake jewelry when he met them in 2013. The Atlanta rapper even claimed he gave Quavo and Takeoff the chains off his neck so they could have authentic jewelry, a claim Takeoff denied.
