Boosie has announced that he is expecting another child.

The 41-year-old rapper shared a video of himself dancing at a recent Atlanta Hawks game, revealing the news in an enthusiastic caption. “BABY OTW DANCE ‼️ IM ABOUT TO BE A DADDY AGAIN,” the “Set It Off” star wrote.

While he didn’t disclose the identity of the child’s mother, many speculate that it could be his fiancée, Rajel Nelson. Although Nelson has yet to comment on the news, the couple has been in a relationship for several years. She has shown unwavering support for Boosie, who made their engagement public in January 2024 through court documents.  In these documents, Boosie informed a judge in his California gun case that he was actively planning a wedding.

Boosie did not provide further details, such as a due date or gender, but this addition will make him a father of nine. The exciting announcement comes amid a turbulent time for the rapper, who has faced ongoing conflict with his eldest daughter, Iviona Hatch. The aspiring musician has criticized her father publicly for disparaging comments he has made about her sexuality. Earlier this year, Boosie also released a diss track aimed at another of his daughters, Tori, referring to her as “ungrateful.” It’s unclear whether Boosie has since mended his relationship with his daughters, though the arrival of a new sibling might bring hope for reconciliation and harmony within the family.
