On Saturday, Boosie made a heartfelt post to Vice President Kamala Harris, pleading for her help to get his friend C-Murder out of jail.
In his post, the Louisiana rapper says he is reaching out to Harris because she “seems to help Black people” when they’ve been on the wrong side of the law.
“So…Kamala Harris, I’m asking you to help my friend C-Murder bro.”
“As president, vice president…I feel like you and Biden can do something about it. This man is innocent. You know… he’s completely innocent, and he was convicted because of, ya know, his rap name and the success of no-limit records. So, this goes out to Kamala Harris. I need you to look into this man and see this injustice and turn this around. This man got kids. It’s almost 20 years of his life that’s been taken away..you know. So I’m reaching out to Vice President Kamala Harris to look into the C-Murder situation bro. It’s sad, bro.”
All Hip Hop reported earlier this week that C-Murder was taking another shot at getting out of prison by hiring Ben Crump to his legal team. He also released a statement regarding his hunger strike for the cruel and unjust treatment he and other inmates received at the prison.
C-Murder, whose real name is Corey Miller, is currently serving a life sentence at Elayn Hunt Correctional Center for what he says is a crime he didn’t commit.
