Back in April, Boosie Badazz was hit with a lawsuit for his alleged role in a 2017 altercation inside the Edgewater Mall in Biloxi, MS.
In the incident, according to reports, Boosie was pepper sprayed, arrested and charged with simple assault and disorderly conduct, as officials said he “disrupted the flow of normal business” inside the mall. In addition, Boosie was also accused of assaulting a security guard outside the mall.
However, when it came time to plead his case, Boosie said the incident occurred only after the security guard approached him for no reason, hurling racial slurs at him and his family.
Despite the rapper’s rebuttal, the guard, who has been identified as Glen Kerley, filed a suit for assault, battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress, civil conspiracy and negligence.
Now, in the wake of the lawsuit, Boosie has filed another suit in the ongoing investigation, accusing Kerley of stopping his bags with his allegations of physical assault.
In the new docs obtained by The Blast, Boosie says Kerley sued him for no reasonable reason and abused the legal process by filing a suit with “malice and/or without probable cause.”
The rapper says Kerley’s accusations have cost him big time, and resulted in an “interference with prospective business deals.”
