Boosie addressed why he chose to make a diss response to NBA Youngboy instead of speaking to him directly.
Last week, Boosie sat down with Vlad to discuss some things. When Boosie was asked why he didn’t reach out to YoungBoy after he dissed him in a song. Boosie replied he didn’t want to get violent, which is why he made a diss track of his own.
“Because I don’t wanna kill him,” Boosie explained. “So, I just wanted to say what I had to say. I ain’t really promote the song. I just wanted to say what I had to say. But, it—I just felt like, I’ll say what I had to say over the mic, and that’s it, you know? Like I said, my first and last time speaking on it. I was gon’ say what I had to say, and that’s it.”
Boosie was also asked what led up to him being dissed by YB, to which he said he doesn’t know and merely responded to YB’s initial diss.
If you’re not up to date, YB fired a shot at Boosie in his “I Hate Youngboy” song in February.
“Feel like Boosie don’t even like me, b*tch, don’t call my phone, f*ck you,” YoungBoy rapped.
Shortly after, Boosie responded back with his own song, “I Don’t Call Phones, I Call Shots.”
“First and last time speaking on this,” Boosie rapped. “If you felt that way, why you ain’t call me on my phone number? B*tch, you know you wrong, clearin’ all these n***as songs. Don’t go clear a n***a’s song, but fake it like you a n***a dog. That’s that fake sh*t. Don’t speak on me no more lil’ n***a, you know I don’t go for that/Let’s keep it real dog, you was a ho for that.”
