Boosie Badazz may is expected to be released from jail after a judge set his bond for $50,000.
The Louisianna rapper was arrested last week on federal gun charges by ATF agents in San Diego after leaving state court for charges stemming from his May 6 arrest.
Attorneys Meghan Blanco and Damon Alimouri represent Boosie in the legal matter and confirmed Boosie’s bond was set Tuesday during a hearing and have hopes that he will be released by tomorrow, TMZ reported.
Apparently, prosecutors wanted to hold the “Set it Off” rapper in custody until his trial, but the judge denied that request and gave him a bond.
Last week, Boosie was arrested by the Feds over allegations that the firearm found in his vehicle in May, matched the one seen in his waistband on Instagram Live, which is illegal since he’s listed as a convicted felon.
