Boosie defends himself after he was accused of murdering Chicago jeweler, Duke The Jeweler.
On Wednesday, Boosie posted a video to Instagram denying the claims of him killing Duke. In the video, Boosie shared his side of what happened Labor Weekend in Houston, Texas.
“Aye, the Internet, y’all got us fucked all the way up,” he said. “We met that dude Duke the Jeweler the night before; we was gambling. The next day, dude followed us to the concert. When we left out the concert, we were under the garage. Dude went to his car by himself and walked down to the parking lot. That’s when somebody tried to rob him and killed the dude.”
He continued: “What the hell my 19-year-old cousin going to try to rob and kill somebody? We getting money, man. We getting f*cking money. That ain’t our steelo. As a boss, I ain’t letting it go down like that, man. This dude finna make me a piece… so y’all need to kill that.”
Boosie is being accused of murder because he was the last person seen with Duke. However, to back up Boosie’s claims, pictures have floated around on social media of the rapper Duke and J. Prince Jr. hanging out shooting dice together.
Duke was killed in a parking lot ambush after winning $100,000 in a dice game before Boosie’s performance. An eyewitness says two men got out of a black truck and approached Duke. They then shot him and took off with his belongings.
Houston police say the shooters are currently wanted and are believed to be between the ages of 25-35.
