Boston Richey Faces Serious Charges After Allegedly Choking Pregnant Girlfriend

Boston Richey is now in legal trouble after a video surfaced of him getting physical with his girlfriend, Tatiana Chanell.

The Florida rapper is facing serious accusations from Chanell, who claims that he choked her at least 20 times over two hours, even though she was allegedly pregnant. According to legal documents, Chanell says she was forced into the back of a car, where the strangulation occurred. She alleges that during the attacks, she lost consciousness and even stopped breathing for up to 10 seconds. Chanell also states that Richey was aware of her pregnancy but continued the attack. Disturbingly, two other individuals were present, and it took them two hours to intervene. During the strangulation, Richey reportedly made a chilling threat: “If you call the police, I might as well kill you.”

The incident escalated when Richey snatched Chanell’s phone while they were at a Houston nightclub, which led her to press charges for both assault and phone theft. She is currently pursuing legal action, and Richey is facing felony family violence charges. The confrontation, which occurred on March 30th, 2025, was initially captured on video, showing Richey about to push or strike Chanell before others intervened.

Richey has not spoken out about the allegations.
