Pro boxer Joseph “JoJo” Diaz was arrested for child neglect on Monday, according to TMZ Sports.
The pro boxer was taken into custody by the Claremont Police Dept., as law enforcement sources confirmed it was a misdemeanor for child neglect. However, the specific charges are unclear. He was released on Tuesday afternoon.

Wednesday, Diaz responded to a Twitter user, seemingly related to his child, who called the story “sad.”
“Shut up you dweeb, you you’re family and niece been trying to take away my son from me. I love him more than anything, this is just extra fuel to execute the hard work I’ve been doing, and overcoming all the evil set against me. See you March 18th I know you’ll be watching :)”
The 30-year-old holds a 32-3-1 pro record. Devin Haney defeated him in a 2021 fight.
