Oscar De La Hoya is in trouble after his co-worker says he sexually assaulted her on multiple occasions.
An unnamed woman alleges that the brutalization caused her “severe physical and emotional damage” that still haunts her. Oscar denies the allegations and says the woman is bitter because she was let go from the company.
“Unfortunately, with the twenty-four-hour news cycle. We find ourselves today, more often than not, as the recipient of vindictive and unjust accusations that are interpreted and spread as truth. Without any evidence to support erroneous claims,” Oscar’s team said.
The allegations stem from another lawsuit involving Oscar’s Casa Mexico Enterprises and the woman. Casa Mexico was in the process of suing the woman for unspecified reasons before she filed a countersuit against them that revealed the claims.
The woman says the first incident happened on a business trip she took with Oscar to the Casa Mexico Distillery. She claims she was awakened to Oscar knocking at her door with his pants down. He then forced his way into her room, but the woman says she later escorted him back to his room.
However, things got worse when the accuser said she tried to wake Oscar up the next day. The alleged victim says she knocked on his door, but he didn’t answer. She says once she got inside, Oscar “pulled [her] into his bed, where he sexually assaulted her.”
The alleged abuse, unfortunately, didn’t end there. Following the trip, the woman went out for dinner with Oscar and some colleagues. After the meal, she returned to Oscar’s home, where he “revealed and retrieved a sexual object from a stored collection in his house.” He then “forcibly inserted the sexual object into” the victim.
The woman says she contacted the Casa Mexico founder, but no action was taken.
