Trina McGee, known for playing Angela Moore in the later seasons of the popular 90s TV show Boy Meets World, is 54 years old and pregnant.
The former sitcom actress announced her pregnancy in a post on Instagram on Monday.
To share the news, Trina posted an Instagram Reel with The Supremes song “Baby Love” playing.
She wrote: “At the tender age of 54 I have found myself pregnant.” She then asked fans: “Please bless us with your prayers for a safe delivery, thank you.” In the caption she added: “Gonna sign off social media for a bit. Thanks for your prayers and well wishes in advance.”
Fans left many comments, with one saying: “Trina look how young you look…having a kid at your age is nothing but a testament to how healthy you are…What a blessing!”
Others commented: “If God made our bodies this way, who are we to question. Congratulations,” “Congratulations!! Praying for a safe pregnancy and delivery!” and “Wishing you the best. Take your social media break for your peace as needed.”
McGee already has three children, two of whom she had with her ex-husband Courtland Davis, who she was married to from 1991 to 2001.
The actress keeps her personal life private but has been married to actor, producer, and director Marcello Thedford for 16 years.
The couple met almost 30 years ago when they were both acting in the Sylvester Stallone movie “Daylight,” which was filmed in Rome.
McGee’s most recent acting role was in 2023’s “Classmates,” directed by her “Boy Meets World” co-star Danielle Fishel. Before that, she played Angela again in one 2015 episode of the spin-off show “Girl Meets World.”
It’s not clear how far along McGee is in her pregnancy. But in another photo she shared from her current vacation in Belize before announcing her pregnancy, she wore a crop top and low skirt, and fans complimented her visible baby bump.
