Brent Grimes, who was recently released by the Miami Dolphins, has found another home in Florida for now.
It was previously speculated that a few NFL teams were hesitant to sign the cornerback due to fear of drama his wife may bring. It appears Tampa Bay is willing to take on the risks. The Bucs and Grimes have decided on a 2-year, $16.5 million deal, according to a source.
Fortunately for Grimes, he has a history with Bucs defensive coordinator Mike Smith. From 2008 to 2012 Mike Smith was Grimes’ coach with the Falcons.
As for Miko Grimes, Brent’s wife, quitting Twitter, it appears that as of today she is back on social media.
