Sunday’s episode of The “Real Housewives of Atlanta” was fairly mild compared to last week’s, though the ladies still brought the spice.
The Angela and Porsha saga continued, with Mrs. Oakley recapping the fateful Nashville trip, where Porsha made comments about sleeping with Angela’s husband, Charles. While he brushed off the remarks, Angela was not so quick to forgive and forget.
We also saw the dynamic between Brit, her mother, and her sisters. The family matriarch is selling the family home, which the sisters see as a major issue. While brief, this moment showcased much more depth to Brit, whose storyline has primarily focused on her fallout with Kenya.
I certainly wasn’t expecting to get this type of scene out of Brit Eady’s family, but they definitely deserve a Kadooze for being so open about such a sensitive topic in their family history #RHOA pic.twitter.com/DjEeWQtG4v

This week’s standout moment was the annual Bailey-Que, where the ladies gathered at Cynthia’s house for a Juneteenth cookout. As each woman got her energy read by a prophet, Porsha and Angela finally sat down to address Porsha’s unsavory comments about Charles.
Porsha acknowledged that she was wrong for making the messy remarks, though only after some persuasion from Cynthia, who urged the pair to talk. Still, some took issue with Porsha blaming her threats to sleep with Charles on “having too much fun.” While the conversation ended with hugs and an agreement to move on, things were much less amicable with Shamea, whom Angela accused of making light of the situation.
While some viewed Episode 9 as a “sleeper,” there was still enough drama to keep fans interested heading into Week 10. In the mid-season trailer, we see Angela and Porsha having a one-on-one, a sign that the two may eventually bury the hatchet and form a genuine friendship. Only time will tell, but for now, RHOA stans can only speculate.
