For the last 16 years, Idris Elba has been a Hollywood Heartthrob, but as of November 2018, the British actor is officially the Sexiest Man Alive, according to PEOPLE. In fact, in the wake of the honor, a British manufacturer has offered the opportunity to take the sexy man home with you. Problem is, the handcrafted doll created by Emperis looks nothing like the British actor.
At 17 inches tall, the “handcrafted ball-joined doll” is complete with moveable limbs, a muscular chest, and a dapper three-piece suit. But when it comes to the features from the neck up, that’s when things get a bit fuzzy in its comparison to the Sexiest Man Alive.
Besides the fact that the doll is bald when Elba has a full head of hair, the facial features look more like Montel Williams than Elba. In fact, even Williams thought it looked more like him, tweeting, “Ok, so I guess I have a doll now.”
In any case, if you’re willing to look beyond the small flaw, the doll will run you a cool $1,100. But, in the wake of the backlash, the toy has either sold out or been removed from Emperis’ website.
