What was supposed to be a joyous day for Britney Spears and Sam Asghari turned out to be chaos after Britney’s first husband, Jason Alexander, showed up trying to crash their wedding, TMZ reports.
Alexander went live on Instagram Thursday, where he can be seen storming into the popstar’s home in Thousand Oaks, California, where she is set to wed.
“Britney Spears invited me here. She’s my first wife, my only wife. I’m her first her husband. I’m here to crash the wedding,” he tells security.
Alexander eventually makes his way into the home, where he continues to search for his ex-wife.
He can be heard saying on the live stream, “Hey, where’s Britney?” as a guard tells him he needs to leave.
A spokesperson for the Ventura County Sheriff’s Department confirmed Alexander was arrested at the residence after officers responded to a trespassing complaint. After cops ran a records check, Alexander was found to have an out-of-county warrant. He was placed under arrest for that offense.
Childhood friends Spears and Alexander were married for a total of 55 hours in 2004.
