Britney Spears Reveals the Text Messages She Sent to Her Mom After Being Forced into a Mental Facility

Britney Spears has the tea, and she is ready to spill it. In now-deleted screenshots of text messages, she sent her mom, lawyer, and friend after finding out she’s being forced into a mental facility.

The messages detail how she was scared of her medical caretaker and thought she would die. She also revealed that she didn’t hear anything from her mom when she texted, only when she was released in 2019.

In the first screenshot, the singer said, “He was saying he wants to UP the seraquil [sic] and I’m like whoaaaaaaa horsey go f–k yourslwf [sic].”

It’s unclear who “he” is but it’s suspected it’s either her father or brother.

“Seraquil I thought was a sleep aid but it’s for bipolar and is WAAAAAY Stronger than lithium.” Seroquel is a medication that treats mood swings including schizophrenia and bipolar disorder.

Her messages continued, “I literally feel alll [sic] the sick medicine in my stomach. I feel like he’s trying to kill me. I swear to god I do.”

Britney said, “Her words were ‘You should have let me visit you and give you a hug,” regarding her mom’s, Lynne, response.

What’s more troubling is the second screenshot the “Toxic” singer posted, which shows her asking her friend, Jansen Fitzgerald, to help herself find new counsel.

She then went to her friend asking about lithium, a mood-stabilizing drug given to her, however, the songstress testified multiple times the medication made her feel drunk, and her meds were changed without her knowing.

Unfortunately, she never received a text back from her friend.

Fitzgerald alleges that Britney deleted some messages and altered them before she posted them on Instagram and insisted she did respond to her friend.

What’s more confusing is that Fitzgerald says they haven’t spoken in years and that she has been blocked even though she has tried every outlet to reach Britney.

In Britney’s final screenshot, she messaged her lawyer asking for a new life and a text message her sister, Jamie Lynn Spears sent.

When she was released in 2019, she texted her lawyer, “I want to talk about going to court when this is done and getting my medical rights. When this program is over, I don’t want to work at all … I want to live for me and have an adventurous life.”

She then shared an Instagram caption of what Jamie Lynn Spears allegedly texted her, “They’re not gonna let you go, so why are you fighting it?”

Britney has been at odds with her family for years since her conservatorship. Her family relationships have remained strained since her release as she continues to let her fans know what really happened to her.
