Britney Spears is firing back following reports of a physical altercation between her and her boyfriend, Paul Richard Soliz.
The chaos began early Thursday morning when first responders responded to Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles, where Spears and Soliz were staying. Allegedly, they were there to assist with a fight the couple had. Los Angeles Fire Department spokesperson Brian Humphrey told Page Six that an ambulance arrived at 12:42 a.m. after receiving a call about a woman who was injured. The nature of the wounds was unknown, and the ambulances left shortly after. Police were not called. In photos obtained by the outlet, the “Gimme More” star was seen gripping a pillow while walking next to Soliz outside of Chateau Marmont. Spears ultimately left with her security and returned to her home in Thousand Oaks.
After the reports of the altercation began to spread across the net, Spears spoke out in a lengthy Instagram statement. According to the 42-year-old, “the news is fake.”
“I would like respect at this time for people to understand I am getting stronger everyday!!! Truth sucks, so can someone teach me how to lie,” Spears wrote before trailing off into a series of other random topics. However, she did accuse the first responders of coming to the scene “illegally.”
“They never came in my room but I felt completely harassed. I’m moving to Boston,” she declared.
This news surfaces amid reports that the pop singer is experiencing financial hardships, though her team has refuted any talks of money problems.
