Britney Spears took to Instagram to rail against mental health professionals, claiming she was forced to endure “840 hours of unwanted therapy” during her conservatorship.
The singer posted a video blasting her counselors and her family. In the video, she pretended to be a therapist giving advice. She rattles off cliche lines like, “I’m just so happy you’re able to make it back here today and do therapy again?”
“How have you been,” she continues. “It’s so good to see that little face of yours!”
“This is my message to all my therapists and people who took my money … KISS MY MOTHER F*CKING *SS !!!! I guess I’m a scholar at this point …” Spears captioned the post. “again to my family who condoned this torture … I will say till the day I die … go to hell !!! And if you think I’m lying or thats impossible to do … do your research !!!!”
She finished her caption with several emojis giving the middle finger.
Hollywood Life reports that the pop star will reportedly reveal more details about the conservatorship-mandated therapy in a tell-all. Simon & Schuster beat out other publishers in a bidding war to tell Spears’ story. The book will allegedly touch on her family drama, conservatorship, career, and love life.
No publishing date has been announced yet for the book.
