Britney Spears’ feud with her family now has her threatening to take legal action against her baby sister Jamie Lynn for the “outrageous claims” made about the pop star in a new book.
Through her attorney, Mathew Rosengart, Britney sent a cease and desist letter to Jamie Lynn Spears, demanding that she stop “referencing Britney derogatorily” while she’s out promoting her new book.
The cease and desist also warns Jamie Lynn that her superstar sister will consider “appropriate legal action” should she “fail to do so or defame her.”
Jamie Lynn has been making headlines in the media while promoting her new book “Things I Should Have Said.”
Earlier this week she appeared on “Good Morning America” and claimed that she tried to help her sister amid her controversial conservatorship battle. Jamie Lynn also discussed an incident in which she alleges Britney locked her family members in a room with a knife, reportedly describing her older sister’s behavior as “erratic.”
