Brittany Renner Reveals She Married Kevin Gates in April and Was Divorced Before June [Video]

Brittany Renner just shocked fans by revealing she was married to Kevin Gates and divorced, in less than two months.

During a candid sit-down with Bootleg Kev, the influencer dropped the bombshell: “We got married April 6th and divorced May 28th.” That’s just 52 days of marriage before calling it quits.

Renner, who’s been transparent about her spiritual journey, explained that she’s following Islamic customs in this next phase.

“There is a 90-day waiting period in Islam where it’s basically you have 90 days to see if you’re pregnant…and then also in those 90 days it’s for reconciliation because Allah wants you to stay married,” she said.

That period she is referring to is known as iddah, which is also a time of reflection and self-restraint.

“You are not to entertain anybody romantically,” Renner added. She’s using the time to reset and focus inward: “Islam has made my life a lot easier…this is a nice 90-day reset, just focusing on myself.”

Despite the whirlwind romance and brief union, Brittany made it clear she has no regrets: “I followed my heart, and that’s more than what most people can say in this world.”

Kevin Gates has yet to publicly comment on the marriage or the divorce.
