Brittney Griner Attacked By Knife Wielding Man In China

WNBA star Brittney Griner was chased down and slashed by a man in Beijing, according to her reps. Griner (currently playing overseas during the WNBA off season) and her team mates were chased down by a man with a knife as they were entering the team bus after a game. Griner’s rep says that the man went as far as entering the team bus and corning Griner and her team mates for about 5 minutes  before voluntarily leaving. Thanks to Griner’s thick winter coat, she only suffered a cut to her elbow. It would have been way worse without all of that padding to protect her. Police were called soon after.
