The Broccoli City Festival will return in May with a star-studded line-up that will undoubtedly draw attendees from all over.
Kicking off in Washington D.C., the music event takes place May 7-8 and will welcome Gunna, Jeezy, Wale, 21 Savage, Ari Lennox, Summer Walker, and several guest appearances. Festival-goers can also enjoy multiple sound stages, activities, and marketplaces throughout the RFK Stadium grounds.
This year, the concert will kick off with the BLK Change Weekend, an all-new two-day series of community engagement events aimed at promoting the growth and development of people of color. BLK Change Weekend will run from May 5-8 and feature events and workshops such as Broccoli CON & Career Expo, BC 5k & Fitness, and BC All Night.
“This year’s festival will be historic for many reasons. Not only does BC Fest 22 represent a moment for celebration and reflection on all we’ve been through the past few years; it will anchor BLK Change Weekend,” stated Brandon McEachern, co-founder of BC Fest.
The Broccoli City Festival is back after a two-year hiatus following the COVID-19 pandemic that shut down multiple festivals and concerts.
Those looking to score complimentary tickets to the festival can volunteer during BLK Change Weekend in exchange for entry.
