Bryson Tiller, also known as Pen Griffey, is being recognized by his hometown of Louisville. As of Saturday, March 12 in Louisville will now be known as Bryson Tiller Day. The 23 year old ‘T R A P S O U L’ singer was performing at the last U.S. show on his tour when the announcement was made. If that wasn’t enough to celebrate, the Louisville Metro Government also awarded Tiller with the key to the city.
Tiller hasn’t said much about the award on social media, but Big Sean offered up a congratulations after performing with Tiller in the city. “Had to come thru for my bro @brysontiller! Thank u Louisville, insane!” Big Sean tweeted.
