Emerging rapper BTB Savage was reportedly shot and killed in Houston Thursday, just hours after he posted photos standing in blood at the crime scene where he and his girlfriend killed someone.
BTB Savage posted photos of him standing in the victim’s blood next to a bullet-riddled door to his social media Thursday afternoon. “TOO MUCH MOTION,” he captioned the post.

Later that same day, a man was gunned down in a white Mercedes near the city’s River Oaks area. Police responded to the 2100 block of Mid Lane around 6:10 p.m. and located a deceased male.
Witnesses told officers that a black Subaru pulled up next to the Mercedes. The suspects opened fire on the car and then got out of the vehicle and fled on foot. Police are calling it a targeted attack and ask anyone with information about the deadly shooting to contact them.
The victim’s identity has yet to be officially released by police, but multiple outlets have reported it as BTB Savage. His social media has remained dormant since the shooting.
People are speculating on social media that friends of the man shot and killed by BTB Savage are behind the young rapper’s murder as “payback” for the original shooting.
A VladTV interview where BTB Savage described shooting and killing a man in self-defense had recently been released on YouTube. The rapper explained that someone attempted to rob him after inviting another rapper to his house to work on music. He and his girlfriend fought back, killing the man.
BTB Savage ended up getting shot in the elbow during the ordeal. In the photos he posted, he can be seen wearing a brace and sling due to his injuries.
