McDonald’s CEO has been the talk of social media after appearing unable to stomach the chain’s new sandwich. Now, Burger King’s own leadership is throwing shade.

The moment started when McDonald’s CEO Chris Kempczinski shared a video promoting the company’s new Big Arch Burger. In the clip, Kempczinski tells viewers, “The Big Arch might be my new go-to lunch order. Who else is counting down the days until it’s in a store near you?”
He continues praising the sandwich in the video, saying, “I love this product. It is so good,” before adding, “I’m gonna do a tasting right now, but I’m gonna eat this for my lunch, just so you know.”
Kempczinski then describes the ingredients, including the “unique” seeded bun, before taking a bite. However, viewers quickly pointed out that he appeared uncomfortable eating the food.
Burger King later joined the conversation with its own TikTok. In the video, Burger King U.S. and Canada president Tom Curtis takes a large bite of a Whopper.
“Not bad, right?” someone off camera asks.
Curtis laughs and replies, “Only one thing missing — a napkin.”
The fast food rivalry arrives as McDonald’s rolls out its mega spin on the Quarter Pounder nationwide. Meanwhile, Burger King recently announced upgrades to its Whopper recipe, including a more premium bun, updated mayo, and freshly cut toppings as the brand looks to elevate its signature sandwich.
