Burna Boy and Wizkid are set to headline the Miami leg of the popular Afro Nation festival.
After successful runs in Africa, Europe, and the Caribbean, Afro Nation is now expanding to North America, with Miami being the chosen site for the second U.S. version of the renowned music weekend. In March 2022, Afro Nation Puerto Rico attracted around 40,000 attendees. Afro Nation is a relatively new festival, first launching in August 2019 with a four-day stretch in Portugal. Since then, it has become one of the most sought-after music festivals, with a focus on bringing Africa’s brightest stars to the world stage.
Now, as with any Afro Nation festival, artists within the realm of afrobeats, amapiano, dancehall and hip-hop will grace the stage at Miami’s LoanDepot Park on May 27th and May 28th. This includes Mavado, Sech, Beenie Man, Rema, Asake, Dadju, Franglish, BNXN, Black Sherif, Nelson Freitas, Gyakie, Nissi, and more.
Fans can choose between several different ticket options. There is a Single Day ticket, where attendees can choose either Saturday or Sunday. Or the General Admission pass, which grants admission on both days. VIP tickets offer a few more amenities. In addition to two-day tickets, buyers will receive front access to the stadium floor, VIP seated viewing area, priority festival entry, and wristband collection. Lastly, the Golden Ticket tier is for those who wish to make the absolute most out of their Afro Nation experience with everything offered in the VIP package plus official pre-party and after-party access, both at Oasis Wynwood. Fans in this tier will also receive an exclusive merch item to take home.
