Caitlin Clark’s rookie season is already legendary, and now, her trading cards are making history, too.

On August 9, a “1-of-1” 2024-25 Panini Instant Rookie Royalty Immaculate Collection WNBA Logo Autograph card featuring the Indiana Fever star sold for a staggering $317,200 with buyer’s premium through Goldin Auctions. The winning bid was $260,000, with 21 bids placed before the hammer came down.

What made this card so valuable? For starters, it’s the only one of its kind. The front showcases a multicolored WNBA logo patch, Clark’s bold blue autograph, and her personal inscription “ROY 24,” commemorating her Rookie of the Year title. Panini encased the card for authenticity, making it a pristine collector’s centerpiece.

Clark’s impact on the card market has been seismic. Before her arrival in the WNBA, women’s basketball cards were rare and inconsistent. But after being drafted No. 1 overall by the Indiana Fever in 2024—a draft watched by 2.4 million people—interest exploded. Viewership for the WNBA jumped 170% during her rookie year, and so did the demand for her cards. By June 2025, she ranked as the third most-searched athlete on eBay, behind only Michael Jordan and Jayden Daniels.

Her rookie campaign backed up the hype. Clark set the WNBA record for most assists in a season by a rookie (337), broke the single-game assists record, and became the top-scoring rookie in league history. That success has carried into the collectibles world, where her cards are breaking records. In April 2025, another “1-of-1” Clark card—without a patch and with only a sticker autograph—sold for $366,000, becoming the most expensive women’s sports card ever.

This latest sale is even more special. Not only does it feature a premium WNBA “Logowoman” patch—a rarity in women’s sports cards—but it’s also part of a short-run Panini series that featured only Clark and Angel Reese. With Clark’s star power still rising, this piece stands as the crown jewel of her collectibles profile.
