Caitlyn Jenner recently opened up about her children while filming the British survival game show, ”I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!.” During the episode, the reality star made several interesting revelations, starting with the fact that she had not spoken with one of the Kardashian children in over five years.
The retired 70-year-old Olympic gold medalist described how she chose to tell each of her children individually that she was transitioning to a woman. She said she first told her son, Brandon. “So, I started with Brandon, my son. And he said to me, ‘Dad, I’ve always been so proud to be your son, but I’ve never been more proud of you than right now,”’ she revealed. As she continued, she said she spoke with the remainder of her children, and all seemed to be at peace with the decision, except Khloe.
“Khloe, for some reason, was pissed off about something through this whole process. Honestly, it’s been five, six years, and I really haven’t talked to her since,” the reality star revealed.
Khloe has been vocal about her complicated relationship with Caitlyn over the past few years, claiming she is “a bad, mean person.” It appears that the two have gone to great lengths to avoid one another altogether. In October 2019, she canceled an appearance at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino opening in Hollywood, Florida, to avoid seeing Khloe and Scott Disick. The fallout, at least in part, had much to do with Caitlyn’s controversial memoir, ”The Secrets of My Life,” where she made claimed that Kris Jenner always knew during their marriage about her desire to transition, an allegation that Kris has adamantly denied. While the former ”Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star may not be as close with many of the members of her family, she still praises them as the “royal family of entertainment.”
Caitlyn went on to give insight into her youngest daughter, Kylie Jenner’s insane spending habits. She shared with fellow contestant, actor Cliff Parisi, that the beauty mogul spends “anywhere between $300,000 and $400,000 a month” just on her security. However, the need for an excessive amount of security can be justified. In 2017, a man reportedly tried to drive his car into her Calabasas home. More recently, in October of this year, she was forced to file a restraining order against a man who allegedly hiked to her home and began knocking on her door.
