A California anti-masker went into a frenzy at a grocery store in Orange County, California, after being asked to wear a mask.
In a video uploaded to Reddit’s r/publicfreakouts, a man was spotted without a face covering in a checkout line at an unknown grocery store. A store employee can be seen walking up to the customer asking him to wear a mask. The customer seems to be upset like we arent currently in a pandemic and picks up a shopping cart trying to throw it at the employee.
Luckily, the employee was able to put a grip onto the shopping preventing it from hitting him.
Witnesses can be heard in the video sounding appalled by the customer’s behavior. “I’m gonna put this guy on the internet” the man recording the video is heard saying. A woman yells, “Bye! Wear a mask next time!” as the customer is seen walking out of the store and not purchasing anything.
The U.S. is recording at least 214,800 new Covid-19 cases and at least 2,700 virus-related deaths each day, based on a seven-day average calculated by CNBC using Johns Hopkins University data. There has been more than 18.38 million cases in the U.S. and over 325,000 deaths.
Please wear your masks!
