Rapper Snoop Dogg may be known for his timeless rhymes, but when he’s not rapping, you can count on him to pop up in random side missions during his time off.
Snoop has found himself as an official correspondent for the 2024 Paris Olympics. This has included interviewing athletes and offering commentary on the big Games. However, Snoop is also using his opportunity to learn a few pointers from the many famed pros, one of which is swimmer Michael Phelps. The 23-time gold medalist gave the “Gin N Juice” star swimming lessons exclusively for Peacock, the official streamer for this year’s Olympics.
Though random, this is certainly not shocking, given Snoop’s lengthy history of exploring endeavors outside of music. If you recall, the California icon had his own family reality television series on E! titled “Snoop Dogg’s Father Hood.” The show debuted in 2007 and ran for two seasons.
Years later, Snoop would land another popular show, this time with an unlikely partner. He and Martha Stewart launched “Martha & Snoop’s Potluck Dinner Party.” The VH1 show frequently showed the pair cooking up their favorite dishes with special guests, such as Wiz Khalifa and Lala Anthony. The duo would make appearances together on talk shows, such as “Ellen,” to show off their kitchen skills and promote the hilarious series, which lasted two seasons.
Snoop didn’t stop his food ventures there. The show helped launch his “Crook to Cook” cookbook in 2018. He then partnered with Cognac company Landy to debut his 19 Crimes gin and wine collaboration. He launched his rose wine in 2023.
WWE has also welcomed Snoop into the ring. In April 2023, he delivered a punch and People’s Elbow to opponent The Miz.

Snoop has also lent his celebrity status to a multitude of brands, including Dr. Bombay Snax, Netflix, Skechers, GrubHub, Xbox, and more. The Grammy-nominated artist may be one of the most adored and marketable rappers on the planet. His talents have been demonstrated through his various side jobs, which is just another reason why we all love Uncle Snoop.
