Cam Newton is the most recent subject of a viral video.
While hosting a football camp, Newton got into an argument with a young attendee about his free-agent status.
In the video, you hear the young athlete yell “you a free agent” to Newton. You then hear Newton scream back, “I’m rich.”
“You about to be poor,” the young player responded, egging Newton on.
Newton is then heard asking for the boy’s father, requesting to speak with him.
“Talking to a child with everybody looking does me no good,” Newton said in the post. “So instead of speaking or going back and forth with a child, I wanted to have a man-to-man conversation with his father.”
To address the viral video, Newton shared a video of him talking to the young athlete.
Newton asked him about his school’s season, how he performed and repeatedly said that there was not a problem between the two of them.
