Newton’s debut is set for October 11, live from Tennessee State University, as part of the HBCU roadshow hosted by Stephen A. Smith and Shannon Sharpe. Newton has recently been in the spotlight for his Funky Friday podcast, where he’s shared bold opinions on various football topics.

He also contributes to the 4th & 1 podcast alongside co-host and videographer Newton Amari Collins. The former Heisman winner sparked debate when he referred to quarterbacks like Tua Tagovailoa and Brock Purdy as “game managers” on his show.
