Cam Newton Tells Brittany Renner Why He Wouldn’t Slide In Her DMs, “I Don’t Want To End Up In Your Book”

Cam Newton and Brittany Renner had an interesting back and forth on his “Funky Friday” YouTube series.

During Friday’s episode, the Carolina Panthers quarterback opened up with the popular Instagram model about why he would never shoot his shot with her.

“I’m Cam Newton, right?” he said. “And I ain’t gonna lie. I’m not about to hit no DMs with no Brittany talking about ‘hey yo, what’s good? What’s popping? You in Atlanta? I see you in Atlanta. Boom. Slide through.’

“Why not?” Renner asked.

“I don’t want to end up in your book,” Newton told the 29-year-old beauty.

The book he was referring to is Renner’s 2018 tell-all titled “Judge This Cover.” The steamy exposé detailed sexual encounters she’d had with prominent athletes and celebrities, including Colin Kaepernick.

“I felt like you had to do what’s best for you, and you did, and you capitalized on it. But that was to the discretion of somebody else,” Newton added.

Renner, who has a child with Charlotte Hornets forward P.J. Washington, did not call any man by name in her book. However, the clues she provided made it relatively obvious which men she was referring to. She has also been linked to Drake, Odell Beckham Jr., Trey Songz, and Chris Brown.

The model fired back, reiterating that she didn’t name-drop anyone in her book. However, she says despite her reputation, “n—as would still f—k” if she “gave them the time of day.”
