The Cam Newton fight drama has concluded with neither party going to jail.
By now, we’ve all witnessed Newton and the TSP Crew’s massive brawl that took place over the weekend. Organizers of the 7-on-7 football program confirmed that Newton started it days after the brawl. However, they have declined to press charges against him. Newton also chose not to press charges as well.
This #CamNewton youth camp video going around makes me angry because this younger generation have no respect/regard towards anything or anyone. Very sad. @CameronNewton goes out of his way to help the younger generation & this is what they do. New generation are ungrateful af 🤬 pic.twitter.com/6AaNIfix1m

“Neither Mr. Newton nor any of the other involved persons who remained on scene indicated that they required medical attention or wished to pursue criminal charges. The responding officers completed an information-only incident report to document what had occurred. At this time, it is unknown how or why the scuffle occurred,” the Atlanta Police Department wrote in a statement obtained by TMZ.
The fight footage went viral, showing Newton manhandling the men running up to him. During an interview with The Beat ATL, the TSP organizers said Newton had been making rude comments toward them and swung at one of their organizers first. Nevertheless, they have agreed to sit down and hash out their issues with Newton if given the opportunity.
Newton has not yet spoken out about the brawl, though it’s likely he’ll save his part of the story for his Funky Friday podcast.
