Cam Newton has some strong opinions about the ongoing beef between Drake and Kendrick Lamar.
On the latest episode of his 4th & 1 podcast, Newton didn’t hold back, claiming that Drake isn’t equipped to go toe-to-toe with Kendrick.
“I’m a fan of Drake,” Cam said, but quickly followed up with a critical take. “But after Kendrick and this beef… I look at Drake differently. I don’t think Drake has it in him to go to the places he needs to attack Kendrick properly.”
However, Newton has full confidence in Lil Wayne. He boldly declared that Wayne is the one who can handle Kendrick, saying, “He won’t be able to do that with Dwayne Carter. I wanna see Lil’ Wayne… just for the appreciation of the art… because Drake ain’t capable.”
Newton continued, pointing out that Drake’s distractions—like his ties to Kendrick’s circle, including NBA star DeMar DeRozan—are holding him back.
Cam didn’t stop there, trolling Wayne with a challenge: “You’re going to let this muthafucka come into your muthafuckin’ city in February, and you ain’t gonna drop nothing?”
As the tension continues to build, rumors are swirling that Lil Wayne might have already responded to Kendrick with a diss track following Kendrick’s release of “Wacced Out Murals.”
